The Tigers struggled in the first half of the game, having difficulty finding their rhythm on both offense and defense. Nysaa took advantage early, narrowly outscoring Stanfield 14–13 in a fast-paced first quarter. As the second quarter continued, the Bulldogs maintained their momentum, capitalizing on key plays and strong defensive stops. By halftime, Nysaa held a 26–22 lead, putting pressure on the Tigers heading into the break.
Coming out of halftime, Stanfield showed a completely different level of intensity and focus. The Tigers made important adjustments, improving their ball movement and defensive coverage. Their efforts paid off as they dominated the second half, outscoring Nysaa 37–14. Stanfield’s strong offensive surge and lockdown defense allowed them to pull away and secure the victory, handing the Bulldogs their first loss of the season.
