Last Saturday, the Stanfield Tigers faced off against the McLoughlin Pioneers in a matchup that drew an enthusiastic crowd to the stands.
Although the Tigers came out with energy, they struggled to find their rhythm during the first half, allowing the Pioneers to capitalize on several early opportunities. However, everything changed after halftime.
With renewed focus and a surge of confidence, Stanfield tightened up defensively and began executing their offensive plays with precision. As the momentum shifted, the Tigers steadily gained control, ultimately dominating the remainder of the game and leaving little doubt about the outcome.
Stanfield went on to win 62–44, sealing a well-earned victory after their strong second-half performance. The Tigers’ energy stayed high until the final buzzer, and the team’s balanced offense helped them pull away for good. With the win, Stanfield builds momentum heading into their next matchup, a promising game against Nyssa that they hope will continue their streak of solid play.
