The Tigers had 2 tournaments last week on Thursday in Irrigon and in Central Linn.

Tyson Thurman, won his first match and won his second putting him in 1st place.

Talan Pedro, lost his first match but came back and won his second match.

Jaime Zarco won both his matches. His last match was his hardest. He had to wrestle into overtime and beat the kid by takedown.

The Tigers also had a tournament in Central Linn, Oregon on Saturday.

Tyson Thurman lost both his matches. This result put him in 4th place. All the matches that he wrestled were harder than he was expecting. Yet, he went out on the mat and fought his hardest.

Jaime Zarco placed 4th. He didn’t expect to go out there and wrestle some pretty good kids. He fought the best that he could. He won one of his matches, which made him pretty happy.

Talan Pedro placed 3rd. He lost one match but came back to win his 2nd match. Even though the kid was hurt, he showed some good sportsmanship. He also won his 3rd match. Talan went onto the mat and just wrestled without overthinking. He made it to the 2nd round and beat the kid by pin. The kid wasn’t leg riding well enough, and Talan rolled over to hold the kid down for a pin.
