I interviewed 3 high school girls about their side of the story about wearing pajama bottoms in school.
The 3 girls I interviewed would be Mallory Rehmke, Maylee O’Neill and Madison Simmons.
Question: “Do you feel like the rules for the dress code are unfair?”
Answer: “No. I may not understand the dress code for pajama pants and spaghetti straps, but I do not feel the dress code is unfair.”
– Maylee O’Neill
Question: “Do you think that wearing pajama bottoms affects your learning?”
Answer: “I say no, because it shouldn’t affect what I am learning and what I am doing.”
-Mallory Rehmke
Question: “Explain why you may or may not think the principal and the dean of students should change this rule.”
Answer: “Yes, we all feel like they should, because there are certain types of clothes that are just like pajama bottoms and it’s not fair.”
-Maylee,Mallory,Madison
Question: “Do you thing the the pajama bottoms rule is fair compared to other dress code rules?”
Answer: “No, I don’t feel like it’s fair, because it shouldn’t matter what I am wearing to other people.”
-Madison Simmons
The Stanfield Secondary School has a rule about pajama bottoms and some students have their ways about that rule.
How do you feel about the rule from the responses from these students?
