The Stanfield Tigers went to Heppner this weekend for there volleyball districts.

The Tigers first went up against Grant union and Weston McEwen.

They played Grant Union first.

The out come was 3-2.

The Tigers played very well, they lost the first set, this drove them to come up on top to win against Grant Union.

The next team the Tigers went up against was Weston McEwen the Tigers did not win this match but played with full effort all the way till the end of the set.

With the score being 1-3

We interviewed a few of the tigers to ask what their thoughts were on districts.

How did you like the match today?

Lilianna said: “I played okay. I had more energy than any other game.”

What would you have done better to win?

Taylor said: “Start with the same energy we had at the end of the set.”

Even if this is the last game of the session for the girls, they will keep working hard to place higher or even win next year’s volleyball season.
