9/26/2025 The Tiger’s best meet of the season! Even though it wasn’t a full 5k run it was still a day to remember, about everyone on the team had some kind of PR (Personal Record). 

We had all levels compete, there was a Middle School and High School boys and girls team. Since our home meet the Stanfield Tigers have become 3rd in District 3! 

Stanfield placed 1st out of one other Team for girls the Tigers had Soph Jaelynn Cline place 2nd (31:16.3) in the other end, The Tigers had Freshman Ayden Cole (16:00.3) Take first place right behind him was Sr. Gabriel Mendez (3rd 17:00.9)  Sr. Israel Monkus (4th 17:14.3) Jr Antonio Galindo (5th 17:14.3) Soph. Carter Sharp (6th 17:40.4) Andrew Thurman (7th 17:41.6)

I had a chance to talk to one of our Tiger. Here are some questions from Israel Monkus

 Question: How did you feel going into the race

     Answer: “It felt very nostalgic, it reminded me of playing for my home town, I loved it!” -Israel Monkus

Question: How did you feel after the race?

    Answer: “I was a little mad, went the wrong way, felt like I could’ve had a better time. I was bruised and also felt joy.” -Israel Monkus
